Wind Tunnel of Ville d'Avray

Velocity, pressure and extraction of every conduit were captured using a laser Doppler anemometer.

Description of the wind tunnel

In this experiment, we used a subsonic Prandtl wind tunnel

Connecting the model

 

140 openings were carried out with a regular interval in order to connect the pipes to measuring device.

The yellow fluid shows how a conduit acts against the prevailing wind.

Operation of the wind tunnel

 

The wind tunnel sends wind to 20m/s. Each pipe connected to the piercing transmits pressure or extraction to the measuring device.
